Opplett is working towards a society without waste, where the life cycle of existing resources and materials is extended and given new purpose.
SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS TO MODERN PROBLEMS
Repurposing is a core part of our identity, as we strive towards creating practical, stylish products made entirely out of materials that otherwise would have been wasted. We are continually striving to create locally closed loops, transforming waste into valuable resources and extending their lifespan. Our products are also environmental friendly alternatives to plastic bags, as we aim to contribute to decreasing plastic wastage.
It has been fantastic to collaborate with this great team. This is truly a win-win situation and a reduction of waste. It is very rewarding to see that reuse and sustainability make a difference.

OUR STORY
Our story of Opplett began in a classroom at Amalie Skram High School, back in 2018. The four of us were grouped together and tasked with starting our own youth enterprise as part of an entrepreneurship class. From the beginning, sustainability and addressing the needs of our city, Bergen, were central.
When the Opplett bags proved to be a great success, we decided to take the next step and established Opplett as a company in 2019.
