Started as a springboard for local businesses, the concept store ØY houses businesses in various segments such as vintage, art, design and redesign.

Through our collaboration with Nordnes Verksteder, we support a company that not only delivers high-quality craftsmanship but also creates meaningful work opportunities for those who face barriers to the traditional job market. With 60 dedicated employees across six departments, they provide valuable products and services, each contributing to a shared goal of inclusion and sustainability.

Through our collaboration with Sisters in Business, we help provide employment opportunities for women with immigrant backgrounds through local textile production. SiB combines social, economic, and environmental sustainability by creating unique and functional products. For us at Opplett, it is meaningful to support an organization that not only produces high-quality goods but also fosters a workplace and community that promotes self-respect and economic independence. In Slemmestad, SiB produces, among other things, large quantities for the business market, with all profits reinvested to create more jobs. Together, we work to contribute to a more inclusive and sustainable society!
